RecommendedI recently went to Tangs to have my wedding dress altered. I must say these ladies are super good at what they do. But also they were so much fun and made the whole ordeal enjoyable. Ms. Tang is a wonderful lady and a great new friend. If you need the services of an alterations company you will miss out if you don't go to Tangs. They have several locations but I went to the one on Decker Lane. I can't say enough about this company!
I have a very detailed wedding dress with a ton of scalloped lace and detail at the bottom. Every other place told me in order to hem it I would lose that gorgeous lace and wanted to charge me upwards of $300. That lace is what sold me on the dress in the first place. Tangs said they could do it and keep the lace on the end. I was shocked at how affordable it was considering she hand sewed it back on. It was absolutely perfect when done. If you need any sort of alterations this is the place to go!
I went on a Friday afternoon to get a bridesmaid dress done. I had to stand for almost 45 minutes while she cut the dress and pinned it. I was told the dress was ready on Monday. I called ahead and said I will try my best to get there before 5:30 and Tuesday I did. When I walked in the lady basically argued with me about talking to me earlier about the dress. When I tried on the dress it was not taken up enough and the back strap of the dress was not in the center as it was supposed to be. She had enough material in the back... read more
