I have never posted a negative review before but wanted to share my dissatisfaction in this case. I purchased a new home last year in Lakewood and selected Tanglewood for lawn and garden care as I wanted to support a local small business. The services were all just so-so, and what was most upsetting was the high pricing of the work for such poor quality. The last straw was the pre-winter trim and cleanup of a dozen or so small plants/shrubs on my .35 acre yard. They charged $1,020 for about two hours of work with two workers... read more

This is the first year I have used them and was amazed. Did a great job mowing along with getting all my leaves mulched and hauled away. Great communication and simply nice folks to deal with. Wish all the small businesses I deal with did this good.

Update: the winds have come whipping through today, and while our gate broke, our trees haven’t been bothered in the least! I’ve seen so many trees down in the area, but never have to worry about ours! 3 years ago: My highest praise for a small business is that they have been reliable and excellent across multiple jobs. We are so thrilled we found Tanglewood. We wanted a lawn service business partner not just a company to mow the lawn. They are doing a fabulous job caring for our lawn overall. I trust them completely. Megan is super responsive as well and makes it so easy to work with them .

I needed short term yard care for about two weeks due to selling my own lawn equipment prior to a move. After contacting approximately 15 different lawn care companies, Tanglewood was the ONLY one that got back to me in any sort of reasonable manner. They were able to fit me into their schedule despite lots of recent rain and the busy spring mowing season. They were on time, professional, communicative and completed the work as asked, including extra weed eating for some overgrown beds on the property. Highly recommended!
