Tanglewood offers children and adults a variety of natural resources to learn about and appreciate. From the giant tortoise to the beehive under glass to the variety of rescued animals (including a hawk, an owl, and a merlin), a room full of children's books and lots of objects kids can touch and play with, multiple trails with different levels of difficulty, a couple of ponds, and their on-site shop, everyone can find something engaging. Thank you so much Laine! Brad and myself had a great time at the wilderness survival workshop. We learned a lot of new useful tips. It was so awesome being in a group of like-minded individuals. Can't wait for the wild edibles class. I hope Tanglewood plans on doing more workshops for adults like these. Such a wonderful experience!

We always love coming to Tanglewood even when the building is closed, we say hi to Sophie, Lucy and Hank , walk a trail or two,describe changes we see & identify plants. It is breathtaking.
