We were in Fernie for our honeymoon from out of province and our puppy who had been spayed a month prior and she had a complication with her incision. Dr. Fisher was able to squish us in and was AMAZING, She gave us supplies to be able to clean it until we got home and all the necessary medication’s that our dog needed. I am sad that she is not closer to our home because she is a spectacular veterinarian

We recently lost our almost 13 year old dog, and Dr. Carrie and her staff were nothing short of amazing for the 5+ years we brought her here since moving to Fernie. The knowledge, kindness and compassion that was shown over the years did not go unnoticed and I’m so thankful that Marley was cared for by such lovely people. Thank you.

2 stars because the reception and vet tech were both lovely. Wish I got the tech’s name because she was just wonderful. I was able to get a same day appointment for my kitten which was awesome. That is where the positive experience ends unfortunately. I had Dr. Hurdle for my visit. She seemed very disinterested in helping my kitten. Started the appointment making me feel silly for bringing him in and then the narrative shifted to a deadly disease that it could be that she sees often in purebred cats. I recently had to bring my dog into Fernie Vet for an urgent issue while on vacation. The reception staff were wonderful—kind, accommodating, and able to get us a same-day appointment. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ended. My dog was seen by Dr. Hurdle, whose lack of empathy and professionalism was immediately evident. She did not introduce herself, did not attempt to get to know my dog, and entered the room on a scooter, which startled him.
