bad experience.My mother went to see him for her knee.he didn't even check her properly and ask her to take pain killers and see him back in 3 months.only consulted my mom for 5 mins. drs are supposed to listen to patients because patients come with a hope but instead its a disappointment to see such drs in our society.
I underwent a successful knee replacement surgery in May, performed by Dr. Andrew Tang and his team. I found Dr. Tang to be very encouraging and supportive throughout the process. Following my operation, I spent two weeks at Epworth Hospital Richmond undergoing rehabilitation, and I cannot fault any aspect of the procedure. After almost 10 weeks, I have made significant progress and am almost back to my normal daily activities. I am truly grateful for the excellent care I received.
My partner went in for a full knee replacement and didn’t have her consent form for surgery with her as it was handed to the nurses at the time of admission. Mr Tang came in minutes before the surgery was due to commence and abused my partner for not having the form with her! She told him it was with the nurses but he flew of the handle yelling obscenities. His bed manner is absolutely appalling and he needs a reality check on what is considered to be the difference between a good surgeon and a bad surgeon. Needless to say t... read more
Have had two knee replacements done by Andrew, one three years ago and the second a year ago. I am delighted with the result. Gone from bowed legs, very painful, unstable knees to straight legs and pain free knees that are stable even on steep downhill slopes. I appreciate Andrew's care through the whole process.
