A welcome change to ordinary dining I wasn't sure what to expect when we decided on dining at Tandoor's but the entire experience was wonderful. The restaurant was clean, the wait staff friendly, and the food was wonderfully spicy, fragrant, and delicious. The restaurant was a delightful change from the other restaurants in this area and we fully intend to return soon.
Food is amazing but service is TERRIBLE!! Plan on waiting 30 mins to be greeted or asked for a drink. After waiting forever to be seated & finally receiving an acknowledgement that you're there, plan also to wait an hour or more on your food. If they would improve their service, they could recieve 5 stars here because we love the food. But if you have kids or any plans, don't go here bc you'll end up staying half the day.
I absolutely LOVE this place and so does my boyfriend and most of our friends and family. Could not ask for better food and they serve lamb, chicken and goat! Mm mm good!!
I am a long-time regular customer. Tandoor has many dishes to try and they all have their own unique taste. The food can be ordered to whatever level of spiciness you prefer. If you are tired of all of the chain restaurants in Clarksville, this is the place for you, if you like bland, line up with everyone else on a Friday and Saturday evening at the chains.
My hubby and I just moved to Clarksville from Memphis. I was so excited when I found out that there was an Indian restaurant here. We went for the buffet and I can promise you I won't be back. Everything tasted extra greasy and sort of like a fast food version of Indian cuisine. I am shocked that people are actually calling this the best Indian food they've ever eaten.
