We used Tandem Estate Sales after the death of y mother. None of us live nearby, and the process of disposing of all the belongings and furniture in the home was far more than anyone in the family was in a positon to undertake. Had we done so, it would have been a tremendous expenditure of time, effort and money. Instead we had an appointment with Janice from Tandem, she was able to provide us with a very clear idea of what to expect, and promised the house would be empty to the bare walls at the end of the process. Decent estate sale warehouse but prices are outrageous. Better off going to actual estate sales or thrift stores. Pretty disappointing.

I attended one of their sales recently and the prices are good, but I wasn't impressed with the customer service. I came by myself and bought two pieces of furniture. No one offered to help me move it up from the basement, no one offered that I could park in the driveway to load (in fact an employee was sitting in his truck in the driveway smoking), no one even offered to clear the shelved off of other merchandise. I had to drag them up from the basement myself and down the street to my car since there were no closer spots. ... read more
