So glad we stopped by. Run by very passionate individuals. We had a lovely time, so much to learn and amazing things to see. Very interesting!
A terrific, fun and informative visit tailored to our level of knowledge. It has a working Hewitt Camera, one of only two built by the British military in the 1960’s for 5.5 million pounds to track missiles and satellites and later used for astronomical research at Siding Spring Observatory. The other one is in Greenwich, UK, and it doesn’t work. John and Russell were very knowledgeable and answered all questions. Highly recommend.
Lovely place to visit, staff are very knowledgeable, entry cost is reasonable with a tour around the centre from staff. So many things to do and interact with.
The volunteers gave us a great personal tour and understanding of the science and history.
