We were advised by Tamworth Tourist Information to visit the Observatory and Science Centre. What a fantastic display of fossils, minerals and technology ... and the Hewitt camera/telescope. We were shown around by Peter, a knowledgeable and passionate volunteer. He explained and entertained. You should go, take your time and take the kids.

Great place run by volunteers with a passion ready to share. An amazing experience
This is a fantastic place to visit. The volunteers are all knowledgeable but Peter spoke to us for an hour and was so engaging it felt like a couple of minutes. Definitely take a guided tour if offered.
