After seeing several specialist and pelvic floor therapists, I am relieved to finally find Dr. Lewis. She did a very good job explaining everything to me. She also provided a thorough assessment. I As someone that works in the medical field, it can be difficult to find someone that performs such a detailed intake and takes their time explaining and answering your questions. I ended up not having the procedure I was planning, but I would go with this doctor for the procedure if my status ever changes.
I had the good fortune of having Dr Lewis perform an unexpected kidney stone surgery on me in early July. I did not know Dr Lewis previously and now after the fact feel very lucky that our paths crossed. Her manner was frank, to the point, and yet very caring. My follow up experience in her office was equally as professional. Her staff showed great concern for my well being and showed kindness throughout my post surgery procedure. This entire experience was all that I could have asked for.
Dr. Lewis was attentive and addressed my concerns.
Our experience with this provider was extremely disappointing. The care lacked collaboration, flexibility, and adherence to what I would expect as standard, evidence-based practices especially for an older adult with complex needs. Treatment decisions felt one-sided and poorly explained, and there was little effort to create a realistic, sustainable care plan.
