As I write this review, I've been waiting 2 weeks for a follow up on an insurance authorization request needed by the Lutz Location. I was told by Stephanie that the request to insurance would be made on the day of my appointment. Having waited two weeks, I spoke to my insurance company, which not only confirmed that they have heard nothing from Tampa Pulmonary, but also stated the authorization is not a requirement for my procedure, with the plan I have. you can be crying for help and they won’t see you over a secondary insurances you can have a primary insurance that will PAY for everything but if you have Medicaid ... forget it...!!!! They choose money over your health and care.
After waiting several weeks to get an appointment at this office for my loved one, we had to wait for over an hour to see the doctor. Other than the wait time, the doctor and staff were very caring and receptive to our medical needs. Highly recommend Dr Rozas however if you have limited time try to make the first appointment of the day or after lunch.
