I started my cancer journey in 2023 with Dr. Rutherford, which was a very excellent experience. Now in 2026 I am seeing Dr. Vaagn Anndiyan And he is absolutely amazing very professional shows empathy he’s compassionate and the staff at Tampa General from 2023 to 2026 have been amazing if I called to speak to an on-call Doctor, they placed me a hold and connect me directly with the doctor. Dr. Shaw is very patient. I had many questions about continuing my treatment and in what direction to go and he painstakingly answered all of my questions and my objections in a very kind and patient manner. He is also very knowledgeable about blood cancers and his current on all new studies and options. Moreover, he maintains a very positive tone and is very encouraging.
Have an oncologist referral sent to Dr Rizk. Been calling for days to get scheduled. They either leave you on hold or dont return your calls. Sad care.
I had a great experience receiving my infusion at this facility. Getting through to a live person via the phone can be a challenge though.
My brother is under Dr Mayer Fishman’s care. I would not let him do a well check for my dog. He was supposed to call in meds to increase my brothers appetite over two weeks ago . It very happened even though he was down to 115 pounds. Things have gotten worse and my brother was turned away from treatment at TGH last Thursday and was told the doctors office would call them.
