The worst wait time since I started driving truck 6 years ago, will be getting detention pay. By far the worst company to deliver to!!!
Once you check in, do yourself a favor do not listen to what the lady says at the front counter receiving desk go all the way up to the stop sign and un tarp and unstrapped there otherwise people will cut right in front of you and get unloaded or loaded first.
Not sure why all of the negative reviews. I have been ordering steel from Tampa Bay Steel for over 30 years and they have always been great to work with. No one have ever treated me rudely as some of the comments have said. Seems most of the bad reviews aren't actually from customers but from truck drivers wanting to be unloaded. Very busy place so Im guessing it does take a while to get unloaded but that just is a testament to the fact that they sell a lot of steel. Must have a lot of happy customers. Yeah, everything is true about how long they take to unload. Don't know exactly why they are like this but Plan on being here 4-6 hrs minimum.
