I had a large hiatal hernia and suffered with extreme GERD for years. Dr. Grandhige was the surgeon for my dad’s hernia almost 15 years ago. I always knew if I ever had surgery, I would want him. I had successful hernia repair surgery in January 2025 and the LINX procedure to prevent acid reflux. Dr Grandhige is an excellent surgeon and has the BEST bedside manner. I highly recommend him.
Dr Grandighe is a super surgeon and terrific doctor. He explained throughly all my options for GERD surgery and the associated risks of complications. The chosen Linx surgery has been life changing for me. In the one year (next week) since the surgery I have only had 2 or 3 minor reflux episodes as compared to pretty severe suffering on a daily basis. I was desperately seeking relief from acid reflux and Barrett's when I discovered the Linx procedure and Dr. Grandhige. At age 67, I've had several surgeries in my lifetime. None have been as beneficial to me as this one. The care I received at every interval of this journey was 1st class. I had concerns and apprehension that comes with having surgery but on this side of the experience I have absolutely no regrets. I can't thank Dr. Grandhige enough.
Dr Grandhige completed surgery for my large hiatal hernia. He thoroughly explained all options and procedures for the surgery and assisted me in making the correct decision for my circumstances. I have contacted this office to schedule an appointment to discuss symptoms that I have been suffering from for 2 years without a proper diagnosis. These include sob, cough, throat clearing, nasal congestion, sinusitis, & tinnitus. The symptoms clearly worsen when I sleep and eat.
