Had back surgery to replace a broken SCS on lucky Friday the 13th of March. Dr Venezia was amazing. Even the rep that helps with the devise said in his 17 years watching/helping DR with this procedure, the rep told me he was VERY IMPRESSED with Venezia as removing the paddle that had been inside me had scare tissue, but Venezia was able to get it out with his skills. I had a trial Stimulator put in with Dr.venizea great dr. The staff was amazing the Anastasia Dr. Was amazing, the nurse got my iv was amazing and talked me while she put it in. If you need surgery or a procedure 1000% would recommend. I was out the entire surgery and they did what they to in recovery. If I had to go back for a surgery again I would.
I have had 2 surgeries here (left hip in January and neck surgery on Wednesday 12/3) I thank Dr. Herrema for the great job on my left hip and Dr. Davidson for the great job on my neck. I am 2 days out from a 2 level neck surgery and feel pretty darn good. Wonderful physicians and extraordinary nurses and anesthesiologists at the surgery center! Hospitals are vital, and thank God they're there when we need them. But once you check in it's hard to not feel like a pound of hamburger on a conveyor belt. Tampa Bay Joint and Spine is the opposite! They remembered my name from the first phone call, they were amazing on answering my questions. The anesthesiologist was great and kept me informed through each step. I already knew my surgeon was top notch. Now I felt like I was in very competent hands every step of the way. A real relief.
