I received a cochlear implant and new hearing aid in Oct.2025. This week I just had my 1st annual visit to check the programming of both and to test my hearing. I exceeded the normal WRS for cochlear implant recipients and have been extremely satisfied with the services I received from Dr. Allen who implanted the Cochlear Nucleus Nexa and the audiologist Dr. Henry who programmed the ReSound Nexia which works very well with the implant. I’ve had lifelong hearing issues. I became a patient after a referral by the pioneering and trusted House ear institute in SoCal, when I moved to Florida. I became a patient of Tampa Bay Hearing & Balance center & They have taken care of my hearing needs for over 15 yrs. I am very grateful. Now, I’m recommending them for my family and we’re very happy with our experience. Highly recommend.
I saw Dr. Allen today for motion, sensitivity, and dizziness. He was phenomenal! He did a thorough examination through different tests. He diagnosed me very quickly. I don’t need surgery or any implants! His staff was also very nice especially the medical assistance. Dr. Allen is very experienced and went to Tulane university I highly highly recommend his office.
I would highly recommend Dr Hamiter and his team of professionals. Competent, kind and timely! Love everything about this practice.
