Tammy is an excellent counselor. I highly recommend her, and have and will continue to refer others. Sometimes you need a fresh perspective on the things life throws at you. Tammy listens, works with you on realistic goals, and yes is not afraid to tell it like it is sometimes when necessary. That is what should be expected of a good, unbiased counselor. In a nutshell: Tammy cares about people and helps them.
I have seen several counselors and have never found one that I really "connected" with until I started seeing Tammy. She came in to my life as a marriage counselor and has ended up taking on me as an individual as I deal with other life struggles. I had filed for divorce prior to seeing her, and she spent the next year working closely with me and my husband as we tried to make our marriage work. DIVORCE was NEVER presented as an option by her.
