This doctor has terrible bedside manner. She made me feel like she was mad at me for having a stroke and it was my fault. She also casually informed me I could also have a brain tumor or MS before confirming with more tests and then never personally followed up with me. My wife and I spent a month during my stroke recovery thinking I also had something that was going to kill me before another doctor could confirm that I did not in fact have cancer. Dr Burress visited me in Norton ER. I was admitted for bad headaches. She was very personable and knowledgeable. Willing to discuss my problems at length and even some off topic subjects. She even visited me in my room the next day after I was admitted and explained the results of my lumbar tap and MRI. Highly recommended! Thank you Dr Burress!
She is curt and cold and does not connect with her patients. She gives no opportunity for meaningful dialog. She seemed mysteriously void and I couldn't discern if she hated me or was bothered by something else. She just wanted me to do as she said and take the meds. She sent in her assistant beforehand to give the sales pitch on the drug they were pushing. And her assistant didn't ease up at all. She only was pounding this one drug option. I felt this MD had horrible bedside manner and appeared in my hospital room. She did not take the time to meet me or make eye contact and then proceeded to give me information on my recent stroke while at the computer with no empathy or compassion.
