Had a tour yesterday and it was perfect in every way! Friendly people, a new beautiful community and delicious food!
My mother-in-law lives at Tamarisk, and there have been noticeable changes over the past few years. Several excellent staff members have left, including a terrific driver who recently departed, reportedly due to management issues. Since it is no longer run by CJE, the overall feel and energy of the staff has shifted. My Aunt has lived here for about 7 years. This feedback is coming from her and what I have witnessed. Tamarisk used to be great when managed by CJE. It’s beautiful and the apartments are very nice, but since the new management and new activities director took over, it has gone downhill. The leadership is missing the warmth and creativity it once had. The bus drivers both left and transportation is terrible or non existent Don’t expect to be able to schedule rides.
