This place was wonderful! It is the best priced hotel (by far) that is within reasonable distance to Mammoth Mountain. The lake is stunning and the vibes inside are so cozy. The onsite restaurant is also so good. Staff is amazing - our first night there we had a hard time sleeping due to the fountain pump running with low water and making a loud noise all night. We brought it up to the front desk in the Morning and they immediately upgraded our room and were super apologetic. We didn't expect anything other than them to fill... read more
Very nice historic lodge vibe, with a fancy restaurant and lounge on the first level with rooms above and cabins nearby. We got one of the last "shared bath" rooms, which is a very small room with a double bed and cold water sink. There are separate men and women shower/bath rooms on the floor, shared with ten rooms. We never saw anyone else on the floor, and it was fully occupied. The cost, listed at $120/night ends up $190 after taxes and resort fees, which apparently covers the $2 worth of continental breakfast in the mor... read more
Beautiful old lodge in the Sierra Nevada Range. We stayed in a cabin. It was well cared for and nicely situated with a view of one of the lakes and a beautiful bluff. The staff was attentive and quick.
