This place is a HUGE hit and miss. Ask yourself why they only give the number of beds when you book and not the cabin number? Because everybody that stays here knows the good cabins and cabins that are totally falling apart!!! Avoid ANYTHING that says "historic cabin", that is another word for "total train wreck that is falling down". I stayed in cabin 19. That was a HUGE HUGE mistake. Everything in the cabin was falling apart and it was totally over run with mice at night. I should have camped and stayed in a dam tent. This... read more
Good location.
We did not stay at the lodge. We rented a couple of ebikes with a trailer for our dogs. Very nice people, informative. Bikes are a nice way to see everything.
Beautiful classic cabins and beautiful resort. The lake is gorgeous and the mountain is spectacular, we are deep in the forest and there's plenty of wildlife nearby.
