I had a disappointing experience at the front desk on March 16. The receptionist was very rude. Before I could even ask my question, she responded with an attitude and said she was going to lunch. This felt very unprofessional and not welcoming for patients.
I don’t understand how she’s a doctor. I felt like I had no actual help. Sort of judgmental and not asking the right questions. First bad impression for sure.
I have been a patient of Dr Barsik for several years. She is my primary care provider. I am a cancer patient with my primary cancer doctor at MD Anderson. l have several other health issues that Dr Barsik help me manager using her medical skills as well as referring me to the appropriate medical specialist. Most importantly, she takes the time to address my concerns. She's the best.
I hope she understands the meaning of being a doctor in the first place. Being an MD is very far from her. I have been taking my mom to her since June 25th, other than giving blood tests in every visit, she says nothing. After I asked questions about the purpose of doing all these tests repeatedly without any treatment, she said, 'Take your mom to the Hospital or ER.'
