We drove up from Boise to stay at the Talus Rock Retreat! We were so excited to take in the beauty that northern Idaho has to offer. The location is prime. It’s serene, peaceful & beautiful. It was healing. My only qualms, the shower I took here was the coldest one I’ve ever taken! I don’t mind a cold plunge but not when it’s unexpected. Their water heater must’ve gone out. This was a beautiful, quiet, extremely peaceful, fantastic place to get away, enjoy outdoors, and really SLOW down the hustle of life. Kipling room was small but very nice, view was great, shower/jet bathtub made up for size. The ambiance was just fantastic!! Town is all of 4mins away and lots to do from pickleball to art galleries and antique stores all within walking distance of ..... well everything.
Awesome place to have a weekend getaway
Stayed here for a night for my husbands birthday and it was perfect! Highly recommend the bed and breakfast for two. It was quaint, cute, and felt like home away from home.
My wife and I spent our 12th anniversary at Talus Rock over 2 day and a different room each night. The management was very welcoming and informative. The rooms were not only spectacular with an awesome view but they were very clean! Talus Rock is a very relaxing atmosphere and during our stay we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. My wife and I truly loved our stay there.
