I'm just so impressed! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the grounds are just beautiful!!! The wine was amazing! We will be back soon.
We had a great tasting then a bottle outside under the trees with their homemade cheese dip. It was a great way to spend a lazy Spring afternoon after hiking at Raven's Run. The location is beautiful, the wine is very good and Jamie was a very good guide for our tasting. We will be back next time we are in Lexington.
The Talon Winery is in a beautiful quiet location! And, the wines are good...they use all very local grapes, which in my experience is most unusual. I have been spoiled and perhaps turned into a snob about wine tastings. I have been at some very knowledgeable events in the wineries in Oregon and California, I'm always happy to hear of the origins of the winery, their grapes, the vats....on and on. Absolutely beautiful, wine tasting was amazing, & Sunny made the experience even more perfect! I love when I get to visit home, & Talon will be my new go to when I'm in town �
