Wonderful experience, our second time back! The food is outstanding, beautifully prepared and the service is impeccable! The fishing with James was the best, can’t imagine hanging with a better captain; extremely experienced in offering the best fishing outcome! Our deck hand Porter was also excellent…best memories ever!

What an experience!! From stepping off the plane the staff was all hands on deck! Helping secure luggage and getting you into town to sight see before the trip over to the island. All very generous and knowledgeable at the same time. Once they loaded the luggage and hauled it over to the island they came back and picked my wife and I up plus the others in the group and we set sail to the island. My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary here. The entire trip was spectacular. I love how the lodge is on it's own island surrounded by Alaska's beauty. The staff truly works as a team and is personable and great to be around. The food and spa was excellent. One of the best things about the lodge that they technically don't have to do, is the 5pm demonstration. A chef actually teaches you how to cook the fish you'll be taking home. Fantastic adventure at Talon Lodge. From the manicured private island, to the fantastic beach bar, to the impeccable personalized service, to the amazing guides/captains/deckhands who make the fishing adventures easy and a way to learn and go crazy fishing, to the absolutely 5 star dining - everything about Talon is top notch. We caught so much fish and it was effortlessly taken care of and ready to ship home. Great adventure and loved how seamless it was.

We had an amazing experience at Talon Lodge. Alaska is amazing and Talon does an amazing and unique way of delivering it. It’s not just the fishing, but the food, drinks, hospitality and amazing views are just a few of the things that take this place way over the top. Captain James and his deckhand Colby were truly amazing. James put us on Kings, halibut plus everything else. Can’t say enough good things. It’s a 6 star review…You better go!
