Worst experience!! Our 2023 Pallisade was involved in a deer Hit and our vehicle was sent to D's Paint and Body in Peoria on June 8th. We were given an expected completion date and that was not met but understandable with parts delays. Since that time we have been given countless dates when our vehicle would be done and there is always some reason for another delay (we were told wrong part received three different times). My husband was hit by another vehicle 12/2021. Unfortunately, he unexpectedly passed away 1/2022. I took over the process with getting our Tesla repaired. I reached out to the Rifes Autobody Grandview location 2/2022 to get an appointment and was rescheduled 3 times. The first time, I called to confirm my appointment for the next day. The receptionist informed me that my appointment needed to be rescheduled and she didnt get around to calling. She then told me that I had to be rescheduled due to parts being on back order. This is signed by the customer so that we can start the tear down and blue printing process of their vehicle for repairs. As stated, the customer missed the appointment and the email. Had an estimate. Spencer the manager would NOT RETURN my car key so I could go home. He held my key in front of my face. Said he would call the police, if I grabbed my key. (Obviously would never do this to a MALE customer.) Spencer stated, You have to sign, that your car is unsafe to drive. The police told me my car is safe to drive. Spencer is a past employee of **********rental cars, where I was to be able to rent a car. No car is available because Spencer waited too long. Only minor damage to front end of 2006 Saturn Ion. They went the extra mile in locating parts to complete the job. Service was timely and professionally performed. All staff was very friendly. I would do business with them again. But I hope I don't need to.
Our car was hit by another motorist, and we had the good fortune to find Tallmadge Collision Center as a provider for the other motorist's insurance company, that was also fairly close to us. We cannot say enough about the great customer service at TCC. They provided their repair estimate quickly, and they communicated often as to the progress of our repair.
