I would not recommend Tally’s Construction to anyone. They claim to be a reputable company, but in reality, they hire outside contractors to do the work and then refuse to pay them, pocketing all the money for themselves. Instead of handling projects professionally and ethically, they take advantage of hardworking contractors while still charging customers full price. DO NOT USE!!! Our insurance company recommended them as a "preferred contractor" after Hurricane Beryl. Our agent had to threaten a lawsuit to get them to call us back. Finally got a call back, someone came out and gave an estimate, then vanished for over 3 months. We called daily, sent many many text messages to the man who came out to do our estimate. They delayed us in moving forward with our repairs. Just short of 4 months later, I received a voicemail asking if we were ready to begin. WORTHLESS!!
All subcontractors have to be careful this company does scams we did 2 jobs for them in April and may 2024 and they haven't pay us. Been trying to get in touch with them and. We haven't get a response.
I did 2 jobs for this company in April of this year, I have not received payment, no response as to when the invoices that are overdue will be paid, I do not recommend doing business with this company.
Rick Schkade with Talley Construction Co. did a wonderful job as our adjuster for a claim due to extensive flood damage as a result of busted water pipes in our ceiling during a winter 2024 freeze. He thoroughly inspected our home and was able to find damage that was initially missed!(This previous oversight could have potentially caused mold issues, we would later find out.)
