Talia Construction was recommended by my designer I was working with. I had purchased quartzite for my kitchen remodel and she suggested Durain from Talia. He and his team came out and measured. It was extensive work, preciseness is key when working with slabs. Within 2 weeks, my slabs were ready for installation. It was a bit of a challenge because we were trying to limit the seams. Talia construction is amazing. That review is the complete opposite of my experience. We were told for the complexity of our job Talia was the only one to use, and they were right. We had crystal quartz installed in our kitchen, laundry and 4 of 6 bathrooms. The island and behind the stove were lite from underneath with led light panels. Talia even built a custom sink out of the crystal quartz for the island and lit it from beneath with led panels. They also did a beautiful job with our crystal quartz back splash. I wish I didn’t have to write this review as Duraid is a nice guy who aims to please, however the quality of work is below average. In 2016, we remodeled our master bathroom from top to bottom. We have had one issue after the other between poorly laid tile in our shower to high end fixtures installed incorrectly. In fairness, he did come back (after numerous calls and months of calling him) and redo the shower floor which did not drain correctly due to his employee not sloping the tile in the direction of the drain.
