Danny did a fantastic job with my hair always. He was helping me with my hair journey for the last year and I’m sad to have just learned he left this location. Hoping to find comparable service in the future
Stopped by on 8/30/2025 at 2:25 & I was greeted by Anthony before I could say hello. Was able to schedule a walk in appointment, was prompt, clean, detailed, welcoming & professional. Entire staff was AMAZING! If you’re looking for a barber in the river north area definitely do yourself a favor and book Anthony I’ve already booked my next appointment.
I’m in Chicago for business on and off for the next couple weeks and I’m unable to go to my regular spot in Dallas until the end of the month. I called Talc + Tonic and inquired about a side burn and neck trim to hold me over. They said I could just stop by which I did around lunch time, and I took a seat in Anthony’s chair. Went in for a pretty basic hair cut. I push my hair over to the side with a normal part. She cut my hair so short on the one side that it just sticks up and doesn’t fall down like normal. Unbelievably basic mistake for someone who charges $80 for a cut
