Dr. Talbott is an amazing endodontist. I was so nervous about getting a root canal but didn’t feel any pain! He explained each step of the procedure and it was done quickly and painlessly.
I just had a root canal yesterday, June 11, by Dr. Talbott,, and I was reading the review below me by Deanna and I really can't believe what I'm reading‼️ With regard to her statement about Dr. Talbott, drilling on her teeth before she was numb, I believe it's a bit of an overreaction. Some people take longer to numb up, and I would imagine after the doctor has given the amount necessary to numb a person and begins to work on the tooth on some people it might not quite be ready like it was the case for me. If root canals were a sport, Dr. Talbot would have a gold medal! His team was friendly and efficient, and the office was clean and welcoming. Dr. Talbot's skill and bedside manner turned a much dreaded procedure into a comfortable one. He explained everything clearly and made sure I was at ease throughout. My experience with Dr. Talbott was a nightmare, and has created an extreme anxiety towards dental work, which is now impacting my overall health. He performed my first ever root canal, but it started off bad right away. He did NOT wait until I was numb to begin drilling, causing me to have an extreme reaction to the pain. He instantly scolded me for jumping as a reaction blaming me. The rush of anxiety caused me to continue to tremble while he worked on my tooth. Unfortunately, I have had many root canals in my life by quite a few different dentists and endodontists. Dr. Talbott was by far the best! I suffer from trigeminal neuralgia (the most painful thing I endure. It feels like many teeth in my mouth need a root canal at the same time). Many dentists and endodontists alike do not have experience with this condition and some prefer not to even try.
