Elegant The Washington Inn is a MUST for elegant dining in Cape May. There is no better restaurant in town. I had the Vegetarian Risotto and my boyfriend ordered the Shrimp Scallop with Crab. We also ordered the Dessert Sampler as there were just too many to chose from. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is romantic. They also have a very extensive wine list. Reservations are a must. Valet parking. Expensive.
Elegant and Sophisticated When visiting Cape May we always plan one special night and that means dinner at the Washington Inn. Reservations are a must and Valet parking helps with the lack of spaces nearby. The menu is top-notch, as is the service. One of your more expensive restaurants, but worth every penny if you are looking for something special.
An institution This is an institution in Cape May. Everything is done with a touch of class but you pay for it. Traditional foods to special treats and great desserts.
One of the best restaurants in NJ We recently dined at the Washingon Inn in Cape May and were very impressed by their service. The food was unbelievable. I had a butternut squash risotto dish that melted in my mouth while my husband had tender, delicious filet mignon. Their wine list is incredibly extensive. The waiter was very attentive.
