Dr Al told my mom to double her lasix and double her potassium, lower her fluid intake to 1.5 liters per day and come off of salt. This was so that she could breathe better. We followed his expert advice. It could have killed her!! 8 days later she was in the hospital with potassium so high, it could have caused cardiac arrest, she was also very dehydrated and it damaged her kidneys. I tried to call the office and let them know. I was placed on hold and then about 2-3 minutes later, the phone call hung up.
