Worth every penny. Fortunately the location is close to the cruise line. It’s a cool sight seeing the 5 planes of their fleet all landing on the water when you arrive. Our pilot was professional and we felt comfortable and safe. The views are hard to believe. Just impressive, massive landscapes. When you arrive to the lodge you’re greeted by the friendly staff. What an amazing trip! The weather was perfect and the views were spectacular! The Taku lodge has been one of my favorite tours since moving here and I got to take my family today who absolutely loved it as well! The staff are always so nice from the office booking tickets and the amazing crew out at the lodge thank you all so so so much for making this day one of the best we have had while in Juneau!
The flight was beautiful and informative. The planes are very spacious and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised. The grounds of the lodge are beautiful, the food was excellent, and the guided walk a pleasure and educational. It is clear that the staff cares deeply about their guests' experience. I highly recommend the Wings Airways & the Taku Glacier Lodge excursion.
Amazing trip. Wings of Alaska and Taku Lodge are must see/do when visiting Juneau. Crew were top notch. Hope to do it again sometime
