Amazing experience!!! You get to see the glacier close by and also the only way to get here is by a sea plane. I hopped on one of the excursions and i was by far blown away by the beauty.
Visited in 2008. We were on a float plane to get there. One of the most memorable trips and some of the best food. Did some hiking around the local area, had lunch and spent some time just sitting. Very peaceful
2012 Family Trip - If you’re ever in Juneau you have to check out the cabin, take the plane over for the day and enjoy the sights and nature. My mother still makes the beans to this day!
Kayaked out here from Juneau and used the cabin for a base of exploration. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen and the only place I ever saw wolves. Do not underestimate the mosquitoes; they could kill a man here. Thank you Forest Service for maintaining this cabin.
