An incredible early dinner tonight at Taku in Garden City We started with a delicate Shrimp Wonton Soup — light, clean, and incredibly comforting. Then came the Mexican Roll , perfectly balanced with fresh tuna and avocado. The Spicy Salmon Tartare 🥑 was beautifully presented and served with crunchy spicy wasabi crackers that added the perfect texture and kick. I’ve come here several times with my coworkers for takeout, but this last visit was extremely disappointing. Today we asked to sit and eat the food we had just purchased, and a woman dressed like the CEO of the food industry came over just to tell us that next time we can’t sit if it’s takeout. Imagine telling customers they can’t eat the food they just paid for simply because it was ordered to-go. Completely unnecessary and disappointing. This was my last visit.
