They refuse to make a cake for LGBT people. They never have to worry about business from me, my family or friends. There's plenty of other bakeries like Pixi Bakery on Glendale or Hass bakery on Star that are far better than this place. Besides handicapped people can't get in because they are on the upper level.
They sell cakes to "straight" pediphiles but not to same sex couples??? Stay away from this place Total discrimination, pure hatred
Never will you ever see a penny from anyone I know. You made a huge mistake by discriminating. If you want to choose your clients you need a member only business. I would task you to speak with the elders in your family and ask them how it felt to be refused service or have to use separate facilities because of the color of their skin. Refused to bake a birthday cake for a child because the parents who ordered the cake were a same-sex couple. Owned and operated by discriminatory, deplorable human(s) with poor business sense and horrendous customer service. I would choose 0 stars if I could. Also, the owner will spy and infringe on the private, personal life of their customers. Said owner will then discriminate services to customers (AFTER accepting orders) based on information obtained by stalking Facebook pages. Creepy, rude and unworthy of business.
My friend ordered a birthday cake from this business. The owner proceeded to 'Facebook stalk' her and then canceled her order when she found out she was married to another woman. Do not buy from this business unless you want them to judge and stalk you. They refuse service based on sexual orientation and who knows what else.
Don't bother taking your business here. And if you do, prepare for the owners to search through your Facebook to see if you're part of the LGBTQ community. If Take the Cake wants to discriminate on who they provide services to, they better be ready to take the heat from every Toledo resident.
