We’re a Japanese family living outside of Auckland. When we visit Auckland, we sometimes take our kids for a haircut. This time we went to a new hair salon in Takapuna. Although our children were a little nervous at first, the owners welcomed us with big warm smiles even before we stepped inside. Takapuna Family Barber & Hairdresser never disappoints with their haircuts. Danny and Rose are the nicest barbers/hairdressers you’ll ever meet. Their smiles are contagious, always great conversation, fantastic with kids, not to mention the services are fantastic. I have never walked out of Takapuna Family Barber & Hairdresser disappointed. Gorgeous welcoming Rose and Daniel love everything about hair. They listen to what you want and do everything they can to ensure you are happy with the results. Best colourists for women’s hair in Auckland and very good value too. Very easily located for parking in Takapuna. Highly recommended.

Been coming to Taka family barbers for the last 5+ years and always had such an amazing service. Rose and Daniel are friendly and always put a smile on your face :)) Always get such a great cut here and very reasonable!
