I’ve never experienced such poor customer service in my life. I walked in hoping for a simple wash, trim, and braid-down. I was assigned to a young woman who seemed hesitant from the start. I later learned she was an assistant—not a licensed stylist—which was never explained to me upfront. She washed and blow-dried my hair, but the water was uncomfortably hot. I needed a last minute haircut during travel and booked with Satina. She helped me find the right look and I LOVE it. Even if it was our first time meeting, she got to know me and my needs to give a wonderful service. I'm glad I was open minded because her advise was en pointe :) If I ever need a salonist in Durham, I will be looking for her again!
What a wonderful experience i had! First time at Taji and it felt like i have been a repeat client! The warm reception right from the door, by amazing ladies made me feel comfortable and at home. . My stylist - Dominique, did such a fantastique job shampooing and retwisting my locs. She pays attention to detail and is swift and careful with hair. No scalp pain, no pulling!
