I saw this physician for an arm injury several months ago. I had a very concerning and harmful experience. I found the provider to be dismissive, inaccurate, and inappropriate and unprofessional, at best. I tried addressing my concerns with him directly but I didn’t receive a response.
I am not typically a fan of doctors and have had many terrible experiences. When my daughter broke her finger we needed to see a hand doctor to make sure she was healing properly. We were able to make an appointment with Dr. Baxamusa and we were both very impressed with his friendliness and knowledge. He made my young daughter feel comfortable and we walked out of the office very grateful and chatty about what a lovely experience it was. Highly recommend this doctor!
This doctor is the reason people hate doctors. Arrogant, dismissive and rude. Find someone else.
Dr. Baxamusa is an amazing doctor. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I had an issue with my ulnar nerve. He was able to get it fixed on an emergency basis before I lost use of half of my hand. I am forever grateful!
I've had a lot of slivers over the years, but the one at the base of my finger was different. I could not get it out. The area was red, inflamed and very tender. After nearly half a year of trying to remove something I couldn't even see, I made an appointment with Dr. Baxamusa by way of referral from my primary physician. Surgery with an orthopedic surgeon to remove a sliver? Not so fast. Dr. Baxamusa knew better. He recommended Vitamin E patches. They worked marvelously. After several months of bandaging the area with a Vit... read more
Saw this doctor for a minor issue with my hand. Tried to explain to him what the problem was, but apparently he didn't have time to listen to what I had to say. He kept interrupting me and was downright rude. I wouldn't recommend him to anybody, which is a shame since I see other doctors @ IBJI and have found them all to be very good.
For 2 years my hands suffered from carpal tunnel. Then I went to Dr. Baxamusa at IBJI. He operated on both hands six weeks apart. The result was like a miracle. I could once again pick up small objects, feel the difference between hot & cold/wet & dry. The horrible night pains in my hands are now gone.
This was an absolutely horrible experience. This man talked down to me and belittled me. He spent maybe 10 seconds squeezing my hands very hard, and told me my problem wasn't surgical and he didn't take care of patients who didn't need surgery. He talked over me when I tried to tell him what was wrong, then just got up and left the room. He spent maybe 3-5 minutes with me, mostly talking about himself. Then he billed me for 45 minutes. I received no treatment for my problem. I would not recommend this person or their busines... read more
Hello I’m so happy with the results of my hand surgery and wrist surgery I can now actually use my hand in my wrist almost 100%! All my bones healed correctly! His bedside manner is phenomenal! He is very good at listening to your needs. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!
