The concept of the organization is good helping Veterans to attain a service animal. However, the promise of free dog food for life of the dog as long as you get your annual health and wellness for the dog was not honored fully by the organization on the original website. As of 2025 they are now going to income base or financial hardship which was not the agreement for the original service members that acquired a dog from your establishment. I sought assistance of this organization on my journey of healing through obtaining a service dog to meet my needs as a PTS and MST suffer/survivor. I was told I'd be going through the program, and did in fact go through some of the commands, what each day would look like etc. I was having difficulty in getting a letter from my PCP at the VA, and since traditional therapy wasn't helping me any longer and not because I wasn't putting my best foot forward.
