Would give 100 stars if I could! I decided last minute that I wanted to redesign a family first communion gown into a baptism dress for my daughter. Denise was able to fit me in quickly and Maria made the process seamless. Not only was the dress perfect, Maria used her own decor to add little details to make it special. When I picked it up, they had even wrapped it in a special box for future use. Amazing work and amazing people. Will be using them in the future!!!

Maria is an expert tailor who worked so carefully and thoughtfully to fit my wedding dress. Although it is a simple style, there was no room for error and Maria's care was so evident in the final fit. I went several times and Denise and Maria made sure everything was perfect. The whole shop was full of thoughtful people who helped me think through all the little details and offered welcome advice. They are busy, so plan accordingly.

If I could give six stars I truly would. I went looking for a tailor after being burned by David’s bridal and this tailor has near flawless reviews for a reason. The ladies here were so accommodating and kind. They fixed my dress that had been given to me four sizes too big and made is look like it was made just for me. On top of that they also had such beautiful veils, which is how I ended up finding the one I wore for my wedding day. We had a fantastic experience with Tailor on the Avenue! We were looking for a tailor that was LGBT friendly and specialized in wedding dresses. Maria was absolutely fantastic. She was so thorough with all of our fittings and we always felt comfortable and welcomed. She was open to any ideas we had and created perfect and unique bustles for both of our dresses. Overall an incredible experience and so grateful for their incredible work!

I had to buy a dress last minute and when it came in it was very big on me. They were able to squeeze me in right away for alterations and quickly rush them for me in time for my event. They even changed a piece to make the dress have this sort of V neck piece which looked better than the original. Thank you so much for your help!
