Maria and her team at Tailor on the Avenue did the most incredible work on my dress for my 10/3/25 wedding. They are extremely welcoming, trustworthy, supportive, and going to them is like hanging out with your family members. I had such a positive experience with Tailor on the Avenue! Denise and Maria were so supportive and kind throughout the entire process leading up to my September wedding. They truly made each and every one of my dresses for the wedding weekend fit perfectly, even making unique adjustments to my wedding dress like an abstract bustle. I truly cannot think of a more skilled, more wonderful, or more FUN tailoring team than the ladies at Tailor on the Avenue. From my very first dress fitting, I knew I was in the best of hands. Maria is the most talented seamstress I've ever encountered - within the first few minutes of putting my dress on, she knew exactly what was needed to make my dress fit perfectly, showed me the perfect bustle for my gown, and offered to make me a custom veil to match my vision. The Tailor on the Avenue team were a pleasure to work and Maria did an amazing job on my wedding dress for my September 2024 wedding. I was lucky enough that they were able to fit me in with my tight timeline and the dress turned out perfect. Maria did a beautiful job on my dress including the hem with very intricate lace on the train, I was so impressed! They also helped me find an affordable veil to compliment the dress. Highly recommend for any future brides.
Where to begin?! I came to Tailor on the Ave in a *bit* of a panic (to say the least) after a previous tailor cut my wedding dress too short - amongst many other things. Denise and Maria took me right in, and immediately calmed my nerves and assured me that they would do whatever needed to get me feeling confident and beautiful again in my gown.
