AC doesn’t work on the hottest days if it’s spring and raining works fine. Building has been broken into multiple times over the past few months with high value items stolen every time including a car that was hot wired. Security was hired to guard the perimeter but they’re probably just scrolling TikTok because that hasn’t stopped the break ins. Another poor quality Marcon development…Buyer Beware! They do not honour their own word or warranties and will make false excuses until your warranty period is up! Customer service is also atrocious, especially their Customer Care Manager Tricia Ward! She lacks empathy, professionalism or just basic customer service skills!
UPDATED JULY 27: THEY FIXED IT’ Oh man where do I start? Brand new building, but the AC WILL NOT WORK in the residential units (at least mine). It cools down big areas like the gym, lobby, and co-working space, but not my small one-bedroom unit. Every time I ask them to fix it, they say a "technician" will check it or has already checked it and says it's fine. But guess what? MY AC STILL DOESN'T WORK. Too many young people live in this building, likely because BCIT and SFU are nearby. They make loud noises regardless of quiet hours and are disrespectful to other tenants. There are parties, yelling, screaming, and banging on walls and floors—too many disturbances to count. This building has no soundproofing at all. Look elsewhere if you want a quiet place with respectful neighbors. I would even prefer the noise of train tracks in front of the building to the loud parties of these youngsters.
