I hurt my back 7 years ago. I ruptured L5, and L4 was bulging. I had to have two cortisone shots in my lower back for pain since the first one did not work. After the second one started working and i could get in and out of bed and a car, I spent about 6 weeks in physical therapy. Eventually I was back to myself without pain, but it was a long and painful road. Recently I injured my back again. It again felt like a ruptured L5.
