It is great to have a place to maintain the Taidam culture, but I am always disappointed whenever I visit the village. With all the money they receive from membership fees, one would think that there would be more updated facilities and permanent stalls for vendors and safer pathways and parking conditions considering that this place has around for decades. If there isn't enough funding, why not find ways to create revenue. Such as fundraiser events or sell traditional goods online. Or host community activities and events. P... read more
Great section of land. Beautiful scenery and truly a good example of what Iowa has to offer. Eagles, Owls, Bobcats, Cougars, Deer, Turkey, Ducks, Hawks, Cranes, Mosquitos, Ticks, Frogs, Raccoons, Beavers, Mice, Badgers, Moses, Squirrels, Pheasants, Coyotes, Otters, Butterflies, Lightning Bugs, etc...
