I have been seeing Dr Tai for pain management of my back for around 8 years. When I completely blew out 1 of my discs 6 years ago I called him because the pain was debilitating, I had been to him 2 days prior for a successful epidural follow up visit . Dr. Tai is an excellent doctor. I recommend him to anyone who has back pain. I have been treating with Dr. Tai for 6 months for may back pain, which has significantly improved. At my first visit Dr. Tai took the time to review my MRI with me and explain my treatment options. Since my injection, I have gotten my life back. I am able to function with almost no back pain!
“Accepts new patients” ... in other words accepts your money. That’s about it unfortunately. He’s at max patient quota for pain relief therapy and meds so unless you need a referral, I’d avoid this place.
I went to Dr. Tai almost a year after an accident. I had been to physical therapy, chiropractic and another pain specialist. Dr. Tai was the only professional to actually read MRI of cervical spine, not just assume radiologists diagnosis was correct. Not being over dramatic just factual, he saved my quality of life or perhaps my life. He would not proceed with a spinal injection for pain but referred me to a neurosurgeon. Diagnosis 50% of becoming paralyzed if not operated on. Thank you.
