This beautiful 2 bedroom/2 bath cabin leaves you with a feel of "Old Tahoe." A-frame roof with log pillars. The interior decorating is a perfect Tahoe cabin feel. The natural landscape is lovely. Quiet street. We enjoyed evening walks with our dogs. The mattress was probably the worst we have ever slept on - hard, and felt every spring. We received a text from Ulla, the owner, checking in to see if we needed anything. We replied there was one coffee filter for our 4 night stay. Still waiting to hear from proprietors as promised... We have frequented these quaint cabins but will not again. We had guests with us at the Sugarpine cabin and were beyond embarrassed when the place was INFESTED with huge CARPENTER ANTS. Owner said they were waiting for their pest company but they KNEW the cabin was infested, didn’t make us aware upon arrival or make any accommodations. The owner brought us a spray bottle of soap and water only after we told him of the problem. We wanted to check out but where do you go on... read more
It was great. Unfortunately it's now closed! We would have returned.
I loved this place. Cabins may be a bit dated, but I think that adds to the charm. Cabins are super clean and spacious. Staff are wonderful. Continental breakfast is limited, but the items offered made great hiking snacks.
