Wonderful customer service! Wasn’t talk with a human - and they were so helpful.
Really a terrible company. I wish there were any alternative. I understand they can't pick up trash during a blizzard with impassable roads. What I don't understand is why they then charge double the next week to pick up the trash they missed, and then the operator lies about it claiming "the driver came but your trash wasn't out in time." This is clearly false (the roads were impassible, city plows had not made it to my street). They look for excuses not to collect trash. There has been construction on the roads in our area lately. Most of it was gone by trash day. All homes needing trash collection were able to be accessed like normal. We even saw the trash man parked at a local business. However they chose not to pick up anyone's trash and not notify anyone (I had to call and ask where they were) it wasn't being collected. When I called I was told it was because of the non existent road closures.
They search for reasons to not collect your trash. This is annoying but whatever. The big problem that they have that none of the trash companies have done that I’ve had in the past is that if they don’t collect your trash, they won’t tell you. No notification, nothing. So if you leave for a few weeks, you’ll never know that your trash hasn’t been collected.
