If zero stars were an option I would have selected it. They don’t prep homes, they don’t fix broken things and they grin you-know-what when called about a problem. Stay clear of this terrible conpany
This review is written specifically for the property located on Telemark Place in Tahoe Donner. We arrived at 12:00 pm (as we had paid for an early check in). We ran into the gentleman who was performing maintenance of the hot tub. He advised that he had just refilled it and it would take a bit for it to heat up. It was quite worm (90 degrees). We had to cancel reservation when our state eliminated all leisure travel. Tahoe Getaways ignored VRBO Covid policy to reschedule or refund. They did neither. VRBO and American Airlines refunded in full. Tahoe citizens protested tourism during a pandemic, while Tahoe Getaways neglected health issues for their bottom line. Deplorable behavior. Not a good neighbor to citizens of Tahoe.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY! GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE DEALING WITH THIS GREEDY BUSINESS! Tahoe Getaway's policies and practices aim to benefit them first. No provisions for getting our deposit back nor much flexibility for rescheduling even though many other local rental agencies were offering refunds and credits to be used a whole year out. No empathy whatsoever or effort to ensure their customers are taken care of properly.
