Really leaves the impression they purposely double book. Scammy and unclear operations, paid upfront and left us hanging an hour out from booking. Booked through GetMyBoat, don't recommend.
I would use someone else. They showed up an hour late to a crowded beach, wouldn’t or not licensed to use a pier. There was a gasoline leak in the boat that pooled up in the hull of the boat ruining articles of clothing in backpacks that were kept on the floor. Everything had to be thrown away. When asked about the situation and a partial refund, the owner would only communicate via text and ended up not responding. Zero stars.
I had a great experience with Tahoe family adventures, can’t complain. Will be booking again!!
BUYER BEWARE: This family is completely dishonest. They ignore texts, break promises, no-show without warning, and string people along with zero accountability. Their behavior is rude, aggressive, and toxic. They lie without hesitation and have no respect for others or the community in which they offer Family Services. Deal with them at your own risk.
Do Not Use this company. We booked boat rental for 11:30 on 5/28. Confirmed with multiple texts and told to meet at Blackwood Canyon Pier. We arrived and no one there. Called and can’t leave a v/m since it’s full. It tells you to text. We text and no response. Still an hour after our scheduled booking , no response. Thankfully North Tahoe Watersports 8 mins down the road saved the day to get us out on a boat and made it right for our family. Again, do not use this company!
