SCAM ALERT. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY I booked a boat rental for 11am. On the day of the rental, I was told they were overbooked and they needed to delay start time to 12pm, then it was 2pm. I waited at the dock until 3:30 and still not boat and no answer from the company. We lost and entire day because of their lack of organization. Do NOT rent with this company. It IS A SCAM. We lost a lot of $$. Booked a boat. No boat. Kept telling us there was going to be one. Filed a credit card dispute, she then lied more and said we did get the boat. She is a scam artist. Someone needs to stop this woman from stealing peoples money. Absolutely disgusting that someone can get away with this time and time again. We have her texts stating she was refunding us the money. Nothing.
I wish I could give zero stars. Its a scam. Do not book with them. We pre-booked online and got multiple texts confirming our reservations. The boat was a no show. It was so hot and we had 4 kids with us just waiting not sure what was happening. They didn't respond and finally they sent a text that they refunded us. scam like all the other reviews confirm !!!!! I’d give zero stars if I could and I wish we had thought to read these reviews before we booked. We had a 10am reservation for the pontoon boat. We called earlier this week and the reservation was confirmed. We were charged and paid the full amount. We waited 1:45 min at the beach where we were told to meet and no one showed up. Unprofessional and Feels Like a Scam I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Tahoe Family Adventure was so bad it deserves a warning to others. Communication was a nightmare from the beginning—messages went unanswered, details kept changing last minute, and any questions we asked were either ignored or met with vague, dismissive replies. The owner, Jill, came across as completely untrustworthy. She overpromised, underdelivered, and in my opinion runs this business more like a scam than a legitimate operation. Nothing... read more
