We booked a 3 night stay with Tahoe Alpenglow Properties and put down $1,200, plus purchased travel insurance. Unfortunately, a family emergency forced us to cancel only two weeks after booking and six months before the stay. I personally called Chris hoping we could work out a reasonable solution. Even a partial refund would have been fair, but he refused to offer any flexibility and repeatedly referred only to the cancellation policy. We recently stayed at the Lyons den with our family and small kids. It was around $1000 a night - absolute rip off. The bathrooms had active mold and mildew growth, nails sticking out of the flooring (ouch when your two year old steps on it), the place was dirty and grimey - doesn’t appear like cleaning happens aside from a quick sweep. My family and I had a great time/stay at Lyons Den! Big house with lots of space and kitchen had everything we needed. Kids loved the game room! I happen to misplace my college ring and Tahoe Alpenglow Properties found it and returned it! Awesome place and company.
