Need a new mattress? Go to the experts at Taft! When I needed a new mattress, my daughter took me to Taft in Colonie. That's where she bought hers. I must say that their mattress selection is a bit overwhelming. I didn't know where to begin! It wasn't long though before one of their very nice sales people had me in a mattress that I just loved! A Stearns and Foster. It was delivered in a few days and, I have to tell you, I haven't slept this well in years! I love my Stearns and Foster mattress and I love Taft!
Buyer Beware The first time I went there I was very pleased with the selection (and still am). Our set was in perfect shape. Second time I purchased a king bed frame and mattress. Now, I made it very, very clear that I am extremely picky about my mattress due to my back. The sales person assured me that the one I chose would be great. However, I did ask if there was a problem with it what options I had. They informed me to just "call" if there was. Fine.
Unplesent delivery Our delivery was less than plesent. After the delivery, Tricia from Taft contacted me to apologize. I really appreciated the call after the delivery men were so rude.
Great $ lots of selection Great selection..Purchased a couch for $399 in a very pretty light blue color ,looks fabulous in my house and I am going back for some other pieces this weekend. I picked up the merhcandise 20 minutes after I purchased and within an hour i was home on my new couch! Shopping there was a breeze!
Incredible Store What an incredible store Taft is!!! I went in looking for a dining room set and could not believe how much they had to choose from. The salesperson, Barbara, was so nice,informative and didn't hound me. She let me look around and checked back with me to see if I had any questions. I picked out a great set tha was priced alot less than other stores I shopped. The delivery men were very courteous and set the table and chairs up right where I wanted it. Thanks to all at Taft for such wonderful service!
AWEFUL QUALITY TERRIBLE SERVICE I was a repeat customer of Taft until this weekend. I have purchased my living room set from there twice and a family room two person recliner that were nice in the past few years. This weekend my son needed a new bed so we purchased a twin bed for $400 thinking it was good quality. When we got it home the head board was cracked, the rails were bowed and the foot board had a big dig in it. NOT QUALITY FOR THE $. Once you're out the door you're on your own. I bought a sofa and loveseat last Saturday. Got it home and the loveseat had pieces fallling out of the bottom and leans to one side and sofa had grease stains. I called "service after sale" immediately and had to leave a message. I then emailed CS. On Tuesday afternoon, after not hearing anything I called again and was told someone would call me Wed. to come out and see the piece on Thurs. No one called and no one came. Beautiful Store with lots to pick from I was so pleasantly surprised when I went to Taft! I had thought it would be like warehouse and it was beautiful. One of the nicest furniture stores I have been to. The amount of furniture was enormous and the sales people were so friendly. I was able to get my sofa and loveseat the same day. The guys that helped me load my truck were very helpful. Thanks to the entire staff at Taft for making my furniture shopping so enjoyable. I will be back for a new dining set soon!!
Taft and patronizing the local business.. Great store, great people.. always a pleasure to spend a few hours browsing the showroom one can pick up a good deal AND some amazing design ideas to go with it..
