Good food but highest prices for carry-out Mexican food in Libertyville. Increased its prices inordinately high during COVID. Just added another 15% increase in 2026. Adds 5% credit card surcharge. Now $30-$35 per person before drinks. Inordinately expensive. SKIP!!!

Tacos El Rey De Oro restaurant was very good. The food was authentic, delicious, reasonably priced and the service provided by Maria was outstanding. She was attentive, quick and extremely personable. Will be returning and recommending this restaurant to others.
Maria took extra special care of us today and she just made a day a little more fun. Thank you Maria!! I would also love to add, best chile relleno burrito suiza I ever had!!!
The enchiladas I ordered were dry and the tortilla was very stiff and salty!
